Audiences

Record what buyers actually say, with the receipts

Audience research in RankStack is evidence, not persona-writing. Each problem, question and trigger is stored with a link to where you found it and the date you found it.

What gets recorded

  • The problem, in the buyer’s own phrasing
  • The questions they ask before they will buy
  • The trigger that turns interest into a purchase
  • The objection that stops them
  • Where they search, and on which platforms
  • The content format they expect to find
  • A source URL and the date the evidence was gathered

Why evidence dates matter

A forum thread from 2019 describes a market that may no longer exist. Every audience record carries its evidence date so stale research can be spotted and refreshed rather than quietly relied on.

Feeding the rest of the workspace

  • Audience questions become candidate keywords
  • Preferred platforms seed the platform comparison
  • Expected content formats feed the format-gap score
  • Everything exports as a standard CSV other tools can read
