Using RankStack

The order that works, and why each step matters to the one after it.

1. Create a project

One website, product or client per project. Keywords, backlinks and audits all hang off it, so this comes first.

2. Write a brief

State the offer, the customer, the outcome, the geography and the price. Site fit in every later score is measured against this, so a vague brief produces vague scores.

3. Record an audience

Problems, questions, triggers and objections, each with the source you found it in and the date. The questions become your candidate keywords.

4. Add keywords

Enter the phrases you already track, with their volumes and the source each figure came from. A keyword with no volume still works — it scores zero for demand rather than being guessed at.

5. Record the SERP

Run the search, look at what comes back, and record it: position, title, URL, format, and what is wrong with it. Twenty searches you have actually read beat a thousand automated rows.

6. Score the gap

Seven factors produce a score out of 100. Open it and every factor is shown with its raw value, its weight and its contribution. If you disagree, change the input it came from.

7. Choose the channel

Compare nine platforms against the brief. Take the recommended pairing: one channel to acquire, one you own.

8. Publish and measure

Track positions, queue audits, and export the evidence through the CSV exchange. Feed genuine performance back in.

Getting data in and out

Every screen with a Publish CSV button writes a standard file with a manifest and a checksum. The same file is a valid import for any other module, and the import screen validates it before anything reaches the database.

Start with one project

Create a workspace, add the domain you want to grow, and record the first piece of evidence.
